BIO
Fé Torres (he/they) is a Latiné actor, writer, director, installation artist and activist. He's a first generation Chilean/American, born and raised in South Richmond Hill, Queens NY. He graduated with BFA honors in Multimedia Performing Arts from Lehman College in The Bronx.
He is recipient of The Kennedy Center's Irene Ryan National and Regional scholarship for The American College Theatre Festival. For the last 14 years, he's performed in several NY festivals such as The Fringe, Figment NYC and The Internationalists as well as NYC stages such as INTAR Theatre, The Cherry Lane Theatre, The Hudson Guild and The Roy Arias Theatre.
His play “My-My Name Is” won the 2017 Jacob Hammer Memorial Prize for Playwriting, was showcased at The Kennedy Center’s 50th American College Theatre Festival and later fully produced at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center.
Fé was part of INTAR Theatre's Unit 52 Class of 2023 and most recently performed in Jose Rivera's "Sonnets for an Old Century" at INTAR Theatre.
